Need to Know Essentials for BTS Concert!

After listening to their music, watching performances, and following their journey from afar, finally seeing BTS live is an experience that feels almost surreal.
In this post, I’m sharing my experience attending a BTS concert—from getting ready for the big day and traveling to the stadium to the excitement of seeing the members perform live. Whether you’re a longtime ARMY planning your first BTS concert or simply curious about what it’s like, come along as I relive one of the most exciting concert experiences I’ve ever had!
Preparing Before the Concert
Get Your Tickets Early and Verify Details
BTS concerts sell out quickly, so securing your tickets as soon as they become available is crucial. Use official ticketing platforms to avoid scams. Once you have your tickets, double-check the date, time, and venue location.
Make sure to look up a seating chart of the venue BEFORE purchasing the tickets. Some websites (like seatgeek) will show you a point of view from your seats so that you can imagine how your experience will be. Also do research to make sure you do not have an obstructed view. There is rarely a bad view at a BTS Concert!
Go ahead and book your hotel room when you buy your tickets....rooms sell out fast and prices go up quickly!
Plan Your Transportation and Arrival Time
Concert venues often get crowded, and parking can be limited. Research public transportation options or arrange rides in advance.
We scheduled an Uber to pick us up from our hotel at 4:30 p.m. the day before the concert. The traffic to the M&T Bank stadium was very congested. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. for the 8:00 Baltimore show, and there was already a LONG line to get in the stadium....plan on arriving several hours before the show starts, especially if you want merch ( the merch lines were just as long).
Weverse has been offering pre-order + on-site pickup for concert merchandise at several tour stops. (This is helpful because MANY items sell out before you can get to the front of the merch line)
Also keep in mind, Uber prices may be higher than usual because of the event and traffic. ( ARMY knows.... it was worth the extra cost to see our BANGTAN BOYS!)

Plastic poncho in case of rain ( We forgot ours and got soaked before the show)
Wallet - Most arenas (like M& T Bank) are cashless, so make sure to put cash on your cards or bring credit cards and ID.
ARMY LOVES to dress up! Go for it!! Just remember there will be a LOT of walking, so wear shoes that you will be comfortable in.
Learn the Venue Rules
Each venue has specific rules about what you can bring inside. Common restrictions include no large bags, outside food or drinks, and professional cameras. Knowing these rules beforehand prevents surprises at the entrance.
Tips for During the Concert
Stay Hydrated and Take Breaks
Concerts can be physically demanding. Drink water regularly to stay hydrated, especially if you’re dancing or standing for long periods. Use breaks between songs or sets to rest your feet and catch your breath.
Respect Other Fans and Space
BTS concerts bring together fans from all over. ARMY is family! Respect personal space and be mindful of those around you. Avoid blocking views with large signs or phones held too high. Sharing the excitement with others creates a better atmosphere for everyone.
Capture Memories Wisely
Take a few photos or short videos of your favorite moments, then put your device away to fully enjoy the performance. Take time to be in the moment, enjoy being with other ARMYs and make memories to last a lifetime! We were able to enjoy meeting other ARMYs, receiving freebies ( we want to give them out next time) and having the time of our lives!

Follow Safety Instructions
Listen to venue staff and follow safety guidelines. In case of emergencies, know the nearest exits. Staying calm and aware helps keep everyone safe.
What to Do After the Concert
Exit Calmly and Follow Crowd Control
After the show, crowds can become overwhelming. Move slowly and patiently toward exits. This way by far the most stressful part of our evening. There was no need to rush out of the stadium, because the crowd was too big, and the Uber wait times were too long....so we walked around the arena for a bit longer, went to the bathroom, hit up the merch line one more time, and followed the crowd as we left.
We had to walk down a block or two to find a place to call an Uber. ( we asked ChatGPT where the best location was as we left the stadium). Being in downtown Baltimore late at night, we followed the ARMY crowd, (there is safety in numbers), found a street corner with a building to sit in front of (suggested by ChatGPT) with other ARMY, and then asked Uber to use our current location for pickup. DO NOT FREAK OUT ( like I did) if it takes a while for you to get an Uber...there are a LOT of other people requesting rides at the same time. After 30 minutes, we secured a driver and were on the way to the hotel! (Prices will be higher than usual...worth it!)
DO NOT GO OFF ON YOUR OWN OR AWAY FROM THE CROWD LATE AT NIGHT IN AN UNKNOWN AREA!!!!! ( we did this at first, and it became uncomfortable and clearly not as safe in downtown Baltimore late at night away from the crowd, so we made our way back closer to other groups....be aware of your surroundings!)
Reflect on the Experience
Take time to talk about your favorite moments with friends or fellow fans. Sharing your excitement helps extend the joy of the concert.
ARMYs were all talking to one another on the way in and out of the show, handing out freebies, and having a blast together!
Take Care of Yourself
Concerts can be tiring. Drink water, eat a nutritious meal, and get enough rest afterward. If you traveled far, plan for a relaxed day to recover. ( We drank water, got a snack and went to bed when arriving back at the hotel). The next day we took our time exploring Baltimore before getting on the road to go home.
Attending a BTS concert is a thrilling experience that requires some planning to fully enjoy. By preparing your tickets and transportation, packing smart, respecting others during the show, and managing your post-concert time well, you can make lasting memories without stress.
